Come see the leaves change in early September and stay for the Egg Harbor Fire Department fundraising party with live music, a beer tent, tiki bar, brat fry and lots of other fun stuff.
Very well run. Dog friendly, nice trail to walk at back of park. Some road noise at front of park. Heated pool. Trash is picked up at your site. Trees are trimmed up so no problems for a big rig. Rio, Wisconsin is the home of the Willow Mill Campsite. This site used to be a water-powered flour mill until it was converted into the camp you see today. Willow Mills boasts a man-made, spring-fed lake and the famous Jennings Trout Stream. This camp is great for swimming, fishing, hiking, and exploring, and comes with several amenities like WiFi, water, electricity, picnic tables, restrooms and a laundromat. Additionally, there are several holiday events and local events that you can participate in if you come at the right time.
Willow Mill also provides campers with a good amount of space to camp and not feel stacked on top of each other. The Enchanted Inn rests by a lake in Gordon, Wisconsin and provides campers with a hybrid of a campground and motel experience. This spot is unique in that while there are activities like fishing and hiking available in the area, the focal point of the site is the Inn itself. Depending on the number of reservations, the WiFi might be slow and not allow for streaming.
Before choosing a campground, you may want to decide if you would like access to WiFi or if you would like to avoid the temptation altogether. The amenities are ample and perfect for the busy traveler without the bandwidth to fully prep for a camping trip. They include an on-site grocery store and free WiFi, among other things. On-site amenities range from a heated swimming pool to weekend pancake breakfasts to a dog park. Outfitted for even the largest RVs, it truly is a resort.
